He open source<\/strong> It is a software development model based on open collaboration. It focuses more on practical benefits (access to source code) than on the ethical or freedom issues so prominent in free software. For many, the term "free" refers to acquiring software for free, but more than that, freedom refers to the ability to modify the program's source code without licensing restrictions, as many software companies enclose their code, hiding it and restricting their own rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was first used in 1990 by the free software community, attempting to replace the ambiguous original English name for free software. In this case, this term means "software that we can use, write, modify, and redistribute for free" (free software) and, according to the Spanish definition of freedom, "freedom."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open source is currently used to define a new software movement (the Open Source Initiative), distinct from the free software movement, incompatible with the latter from a philosophical point of view, and completely equivalent from a practical point of view; in fact, both movements work together in the practical development of projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea behind open source is simple: when programmers (on the Internet) can read, modify, and redistribute a program's source code, it evolves, develops, and improves. Users adapt it to their needs and correct errors with less delay than with conventional or closed-source software development, resulting in the production of better software.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Open Source that the author supports is the Open Source<\/strong> Closed-source software licensed and compatible with the GPL-GNU, in addition to GNU Open Source. We know perfectly well that there are two types of Open Source:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Open Source Closed<\/strong> and Open Source<\/strong>, within the closed Open Source there are 2 types of Open<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He Open Source BSD closed <\/strong>Proprietary Software <\/strong>from Apple, Microsoft, HP, IBM, Oracle etc. totally incompatible with GPL and BSD-GPL and Open Source licenses from Apple and Microsoft etc. are anti GPL and are made for proprietary technologies. The author does not support this Open Source Proprietary software <\/strong>and that has nothing to do with the open source philosophy. It really should be called Proprietary <\/strong>Source <\/strong>Software <\/strong>and it shouldn't be open source, even though we know there is proprietary commercial software that's incompatible with the BSD-GPL. We also know that closed-source and commercial companies are very afraid of having both the source code and the proprietary assembly displayed in the installer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He Closed Open Source with BSD-GPL Compatibility<\/strong> where we collaborate with free proprietary software (Free Software, <\/strong>Freeware and <\/strong>Adware<\/strong>) to Unix\/GNULinux with proprietary applications without being forced to share the source code if you don't want to, and provide the software installer for various platforms such as GNULinux\/Unix\/Apple\/Microsoft. This is the closed Open Source supported by the author, in addition to the OpenSource GNU <\/strong>which is the authentic one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forms of software distribution<\/strong>
He Freeware<\/strong>, he Shareware<\/strong> or the Adware<\/strong>These classifications affect the way programs are marketed and are independent of the software license to which they belong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a notable difference between the Free Software<\/strong> and the Freeware<\/strong>The conflict arises from the meaning of the word "free" in English, which means both free and gratuitous. Free Software doesn't have to be free, just as Freeware doesn't have to be free.

We fully understand the proprietary closed-source and proprietary closed-source software business of the world's largest technology companies, but not their distancing themselves from GNU-Linux when the idea of Open Source is from the GNU-Linux and Free Software community.<\/p>\n
